Check your part number before ordering — the FCC ID is not enough

1. FCC ID YG0G20TB1 is shared across several GM vehicles. The same FCC appears on the Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac CT4 and CT5, and the Chevrolet Corvette C8 — but each uses a different key. Matching only the FCC on the back of your fob will not tell you whether this key fits.

2. The OEM part number is the deciding check. This key fits vehicles whose OEM part number is 13541571, 13538864 or 13546300. If your part number is anything else — for example 13541988 (CT4/CT5) — this is not your key.

3. Your vehicle must have push-button start. This is a proximity smart key, not a turn-key ignition remote.

4. It will not lock, unlock or start your vehicle out of the box. Every replacement smart key must be cut and programmed to your specific vehicle by a locksmith or dealer. That is normal and expected — it is not a defect.
